Title : Examining the factors that decrease and increase the effect of acupuncture

Abstract:

Introduction:In this presentation, it is aimed to present the information obtained from clinical experiences and compiled publications on issues that may affect acupuncture.
Method:While preparing the presentation, written sources, literature reviews, clinical experiences and my personal clinical experience were used. The results were written as findings after being reviewed and filtered in the literature.
Results:When all the data were examined, it was seen that the effect of acupuncture could not be changed or could be decreased and increased. Statistically significant differences were observed between the groups that preferred deep needling instead of superficial needling. Both vertical and transverse needling of the SP-6 acupoint have been shown to have animmediate analgesic effect on primary dysmenorrhea. The strongest Deqi is formed in the fascia of muscles around the ST-36 acupuncture point. There have been studies that reveal the relationship between microbiota and acupuncture. Acupuncture stimulation reduced heart rate even without de qi sensations, and autonomous nervous system function was parasympathetically dominant regardless of perception of acupuncture sensations. When acupuncture was applied to the Radial Nerve area under the guidance of USG, it was observed that the radial nerve "rolls". Two De Qi responses emerged in the pathway to N. Radialis. However, little or no sensation was experienced during nerve contact and penetration. USG guided acupuncture was applied to the SP-6 point in 97 cases, and qi sensation appeared in 85 cases. No correlation was found between the number of nerve contacts and qi. Correlations have been found between histamine, adenosine, steroidanesthetics, analgesics and acupuncture. Different acupuncture practices related to the treatment of vertigo have been reviewed and found to be effective.
Conclusion:Thanks to the harmony of acupuncture practitioners and applied people, the correct diagnosis and appropriate indication and the correct methods of acupuncture, protected from internal and external factors or with the support of internal and external factors, touch or micro-trauma initiated by acupoint stimulation, neural system, fascia, other body systems and affects the acupuncture pathway. This provides healing by activating both the main cells and connective tissue cells, creating a partial microinflammation, organizing the organism itself and its defense. It is thought that more studies are needed to determine the parameters that may affect the acupuncture treatment procedure.
